New Bedford Preservation Society presents a free
Summer Walking Tours Series. After June, The Living History Architectural Walking Tour Series 2020 will take place on AHA! Nights every second Thursday in May – September from 6-7:30 pm. Telling the City’s history helps us understand our roots, patterns in our past, understand change and make informed decisions about the future. Bruce Barnes will be your tour guide with interesting narratives about the architecture and biographical history of the city’s various 19th century neighborhoods and industrial areas featured on the tours. Tours will not be held in inclement weather.
